Some notable characters featured in the Captain America: Civil War pack include Black Panther, Crossbones, and Winter Soldier. For example, the Captain America: Civil War pack will include characters from the movie, as well as alternate costumes for existing characters based on their appearance in the film.
It sounds as though these packs will be fairly substantial DLC offerings. These will supplement the core game, itself based on the two Avengers films and more. One pack will be based on the upcoming film Captain America: Civil War and the other will be based on the most recent Marvel Cinematic Universe installment, Ant-Man. PS3 and PS4 LEGO Marvel's Avengers owners will receive two free DLC packs come launch day. While it will be available for pretty much every major gaming platform under the sun, it looks as though the definitive platforms for the game will be PlayStation consoles, as PS3 and PS4 owners will be gifted with free DLC.
The game was originally announced as a 2015 release along with LEGO Jurassic World, but is now set to release in a couple of week's time across a variety of platforms following a delay into 2016. LEGO fans have been waiting a long time for LEGO Marvel's Avengers. Traveller's Tales reveals that the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 versions of LEGO Marvel's Avengers will enjoy two free DLC packs based on Marvel films.
